Sr. Eletrical Engineer
Patrick Engineering is looking for an ambitious and energetic Electrical Engineer to join our talented Electrical Services Team at our Boston, Massachusetts office.
The Professional Electrical Engineer is responsible for engineering, design, and analyses of exciting and cutting edge electrical power-related projects and oversees technical work of one or more Staff Engineers. The projects include electrical substation design, medium and high voltage distribution generator systems, and low voltage system. The work will be performed independently and with other senior engineers or technical leads to obtain support and collaboration. Other responsibilities will include preparation or QA/QC of calculations, assisting the Project Manager with interfacing with clients, on site visits and meetings, participating in proposal writing, as well as defining project scopes, deliverables, and budgets.
Responsibility Overview:
- Demonstrate a proactive, collaborative approach with project team members, client representatives, review agencies, and others as appropriate for the project
- Lead designs on multiple projects from conception to completion
- Assist with scope development and prepare cost estimate of new work
- Interface with clients, contractors, and vendors on technical issues
- Review shop drawings and other vendor documentation for conformity with specifications
- Sealing of plans or other legal/official documents
- Demonstrates excellent technical and professional engineering skills commensurate with years of experience
- Responsible for meeting schedule and accurate completion
- Meet or exceed client expectations
